Interviews

Each job opening requires a minimum of two job interviews.  All interview questions will be related to the position you are applying for within the Town of Madison.

Police Officers

Police officer applicants will be interviewed by a Professional Police Panel.  This panel consists of officers within the police department.  The second interview is with the Police and Fire Commission.  This interview will consist of citizen members of the Police and Fire Commission.  The PFC will forward a list of names for the Police Chief to interview.  The Chief's interview is a lengthy one-on-one interview with the Police Chief.

Police Clerks

Police clerk applicants will have one interview.  The interview will be with the police chief, police lieutenant, and the current police clerk.
