Salary Range $3,230.50 – $4,123.94 per month (2005 Rate)
Police Department, Town of Madison, WI –Performing a wide variety of duties in a busy urban environment is attractive to you, then you have a career opportunity with the Town of Madison Police Department. The Town of Madison is seeking qualified individuals interested in helping the Police Department accomplish it’s Mission to proactively build and strengthen community partnerships. Duties include general law enforcement and patrol in a busy urban environment. Qualifications: U.S. Citizen, High School Diploma or GED, Posses WI drivers license or be eligible drives license, good driving record, no felony convictions, good verbal and written skills, react quickly & effectively to stressful situations, clear and concise speech, ability to perform essential functions of the position, ability to use all standard police equipment, 60 college credits and eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board certification. Process: DJ-LE-330 Application required (complete questions A-C in section 6) and resume. Written exam will be given on November 12, 2005 at various testing centers throughout Wisconsin. Successful candidates may be required to participate in an extensive testing process.
