Arrested Person(s)/Suspect Description:

 

Suspect #1    Male hispanic, light brown complexion, early 20’s, thin build.  Wearing baggy white t-shirt, dark baseball cap, tattoos on both forearms and light goatee.  May be armed with a large black handgun.

 

Suspect #2    Male black, 20-30 yrs. of age, thin to medium build, wearing a white stocking hat and dark blue jacket, orange t-shirt. 

 

Victim(s)/Injuries:

 

Victim #1        49 year old male, numerous head injuries, treated at local hospital. Store clerk.

 

Victim #2        61 year old male, minor head injuries, released by EMS at the scene. Customer.

 

Both victims are City of Madison residents.

 

Details of Incident:

 

Both suspects entered the Open Pantry located at 2022 Fordem Av. in the Town of Madison, Suspect #1, displayed a large handgun threatening the victims and demanded that they open the register.  Suspect #2 attempted to open the registers and also demanded money. Both victims were beaten by the suspects after the registers could not be opened. 

 

Suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.
