On January 14, 2006 at approximately 10:00 am the Town of Madison Police Department was involved in a multi-agency investigation, which included the Town of Madison, City of Brookfield, City of Wauwatosa, Village of Menomonee Falls and the City of Glendale Police Departments.  Titus J. Gill and Brain Ferguson were involved in numerous burglaries in the Milwaukee area.  The City of Brookfield, City of Wauwatosa, Village of Menomonee Falls and City of Glendale Police Departments created a Task Force to solve the burglaries.  Detectives from this Task Force followed Gill and Ferguson to the Madison area and contacted the Town of Madison Police Department when they arrived at 45 Nob Hill Road.

Gill and Ferguson were observed leaving the scene of a burglary in progress at WEA Trust, 45 Nob Hill Road in the Town of Madison.  When Town of Madison officers tried to stop Gill and Ferguson the suspect vehicle, driven by Ferguson, failed to stop for officers.  A vehicle pursuit started on the Frontage Road and traveled on E. Badger Road, Rimrock Road, W. Beltline Hwy and exited at John Nolen Drive.  The pursuit ended on John Nolen Drive at Lakeside Drive.  Madison Police arrested the driver Ferguson on scene and Town of Madison Officer Parks arrested Gill after a brief foot pursuit.  Gill and Ferguson were booked into the Dane County Jail.
