Details of Incident:

 

On 10-20-06 at 12:16 a.m. The Town of Madison Department seized at least ¾ lb of marijuana and over 32 grams of Cocaine-Base, which was packaged and ready to be sold on the streets of our community.

 

The investigation of the drug arrest stemmed from information received hours before the Town of Madison’s High Risk Apprehension Team or HRAT, entered the residence and discovered the drugs.  The investigation revealed that the sale of controlled substances was based out of 2460 Parker Place.  During the course of the investigation it was learned several children may be residing in the residence.  Based upon the information discovered during the investigation a search warrant was issued through the Dane County Courts.  The Town of Madison’s K-9 unit played an integral part for the search warrant.

 

On 10-20-2006 at 12:16 a.m. the Town of Madison’s High Risk Apprehension Team entered the residence and subsequently arrested one of the residents, Kevin Harper on drug related charges, without incident.

 

Inside the residence another female was encountered along with several children.

 

The search of the residence revealed over 326 grams of marijuana, which is approx. ¾ of a pound, just over 32 grams of cocaine-base, scales, drug pipes and other drug related packaging materials.
